Desmond Aboagye is currently the Head, Risk Management and Compliance responsible for ensure regulatory and operational compliance as well as Anti-Money Laundering and Countering Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT) Reporting. He oversees all internal and external investment evaluation and appraisal as well as having oversight responsibilities over all other departments.
He has a wealth of experience in Internal Audit, External Audit, Financial Reporting, Management Accounting, Tax Planning, Corporate Planning, Investment Appraisal and Financial Analysis.
Desmond has proven over the years to be an effective leader and highly knowledgeable in the Audit, Asset Management, Accounting and Finance.
Prior to joining the EcoCapital Investment Management Limited, he was with Primebase Chartered Accountants where he trained as an Audit Trainee before joining Linkgates Consult where he further trained and rose to the rank of Audit Senior.
Desmond holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc.) Degree in Accounting, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting and Finance, a full member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ghana, and holds a certificate from the Ghana Stock Exchange.
